Cornwall Family Holiday House Trevone Bay near Padstow

Nothing is more English than the traditional coastal holiday we all remember as children. Now we have children of our own, we love having family to visit during the holidays and every time someone comes to stay it creates some more holiday memories for us. The house in Trevone is our much loved retreat, and we take great care in preparing the house for every family who rents it.

Our second property on the south coast of Cornwall opened at Easter 2008. We knew it wouldn't be easy to find another house of a similar size in such a special location as our Trevone house, and in 2007 after discounting several, we began to look for somewhere larger. Nothing we viewed however matched our requirements mainly due to their location, until we came across a hotel for sale on the Roseland. It is by a beautiful National Trust beach, and has views across the bay to Portscatho.

Much work went into redesigning it and by Easter 2008 we had converted it into 12 apartments and suites. Downstairs the house also has an indoor swimming pool, a play room, and a drawing room which guests can use. We even have house chefs and a dining room which serves food six days a week. The idea behind it was to create somewhere to stay which combines self catering with additonal facilities. You have your own self contained space, but you can also mix with the other families staying should you wish and if you don't feel like looking after yourself can "eat out" just downstairs. It's hopefully the ideal mix for a family holiday.

As with our Trevone house we have equipped it for families, and there's 2 acres for children to let off steam in. The Rosevine is also our family home. We live just across from the main part of the house, so if you come to stay with us here you will see us on most days, as we are on hand to help look after you.
